Noora Health focuses on caregiver training and support to improve health outcomes for patients

Noora Health is a social impact organization dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes by training family caregivers to support patients through recovery, both in healthcare facilities and at home. They work closely with health systems and governments to deliver high-impact training programs and envision caregivers as integral components of healthcare delivery.

Noora Health, a recipient of the 2022 Audacious Project grant and Skoll Foundation award, is rapidly scaling, already having reached four countries. Grounded in design thinking and practice, teams work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure human-centric & quality execution even as the program scales. This requires continuous sensing of experiences on the ground, connected with qualitative research to monitor, and iterate programs and products.

Noora Health is collaborating with Open Knowledge Framework to design and implement a Knowledge Management System (KMS) to capture and organize experiences, resources, and media across its teams and regions. The platform has been designed to support easy upload of data, and for teams to discover and uncover patterns to improve their work.

Features and integrations

Image is representative

Custom Templates

Custom templates for capturing field experiences, learning reports, organisation reports and more. Allows easy tagging and annotation for insights, takeaways, and quotes.

Image Library

A centralized repository for photos and media, tagged by location, condition area, or facility type for easy search and retrieval.

Playbook Generator

Tools to compile modular documentation and create customized playbooks or toolkits from tagged resources and frameworks.

Collection Pages

Auto-generated, tag-specific content aggregation pages (e.g., by state or facility) for organized access to stories, images, and training material.

Analysis Dashboards

Thematic dashboards aggregating annotated content fragments for synthesis, with advanced filtering capabilities by region or condition.

Role-Based Access Control

User roles and permissions configured to match Noora Health’s organizational structure, ensuring secure access and streamlined content management.

We need to be better about learning across contexts, but in order for this to happen information needs to be tagged in a similar way. The tagging architecture has a lot of information that we care about consistently to improve our programs, so the standardised tagging architecture across countries and teams will make it easier to spotlight and filter so the right view of all the information comes up at the right time.
