The GivingTuesday Data Commons (GTDC) is a global collective of hundreds of organizations dedicated to generating insights and knowledge that strengthen the social sector through evidence-based approaches.
In India, 13 organisations have come together to implement Using Data & Research to Advance Everyday Giving in India (UDARTA:EG), a collaborative research study focused on understanding everyday giving (EG). The goal of the study is to provide nonprofit practitioners with actionable, data-driven insights to inform and enhance their work, and improve their everyday giving engagement strategies.
GTDC is working with the Open Knowledge Framework (OKF) establish a data collection and analysis platform for the project. The developed platform will support structured and scalable data collection using qualitative and quantitative methods, enabling research into giving behaviours and patterns in India. The platform is especially important as the study will be carried out by a consortium of partners.

Current Status
Completed initial pilot. The platform is being prepared to go live for data collection, with analysis dashboards set to launch concurrently.
